I Voted

Casted my big blue ballot this afternoon. Rather large crowd along hand too. Kind of shocked me since we are under tornado warnings for the rest of the day. I didn't do any exit polling when I was there but my precinct hinges Democratic most elections and I'm willing to bet it's not going to be any different this time around.

Two local issues on the ballot were both tax increases. One was for an increase in property taxes to allocate funding to the county fair, which I voted against. The second was an increase in sales tax to go towards new school construction, to be divided proportionately among the school districts in the county. Voted against that one too. I've never voted for a tax increase and it would take a whole to get me to.
