Writing, Guest Columns and Links.

Sorry everyone. I was hoping to do a lot this week with Political Notio, but I have been busy writing all day at work and then usually the last thing I want to do is write and research some more on my free time.

Right now I'm working on a book review as well as a post on Middle Eastern history (with a focus on Europe). I hope to have the book review finished by week's end. I am also looking to do a different format for Notio in which I have guest columnists share a post- and maybe even some interviews, or maybe guest book reviews. I know, it's a lot to work on. If anyone is interested in doing some guest columns/reviews, let me know.

In the meantime, my good friend who so graciously let me post at the National Exam, has an updated post about the 2008 election candidates. Just like a Republican to be planning so far ahead. I'm not sure the Democrats have actually figured out that they lost in 2004. Though I'm still not convinced of Hillary running in '08. And, also, a post about Kerry and voter fraud. But, obviously after losing to Bush, who is far from smart, I would hope Kerry wouldn't refer to anyone as being "stupid."

Finally, given the season, the Cranky Liberal Pages has a nice post about taxes . Cranky always does a great job. And I have to say that I agree with him more times than not.

Check them both out.

Hey MJ

Three things, 1) If you'd be so inclined to let me, I'd be happy to review a book for your site. 2) What's the name of your book? I'd like to read it. 3) If you are interested, I'll even review it for you on the site I do freelance work for, PopandPolitics.com. Right now my review of Collapse by Jared Diamond is up if you would like to see a sample of my book reviews.

Mark:

That sounds cool actually. I just noticed that my link to amazon to buy the book wasn't working. I have fixed it. It should work now. The title is :

Democratic Development and Political Terrorism: A Global Perspective. Edited by William Crotty.

It's a book of essays, and so far has been selling really well. It's my first actual big publication and I'm proud to be part of the work.

Now, if you were to review it, you might only want to do my chapter, for the book is lengthy. But it's up to you.

It will be interesting to see your thoughts.

We shall talk more about this.

Thanks

Ah, here you are.
The national exam lately kind of pisses me off, probably because I really don't agree with anything the republicans do :)
good to find your site!
