Limbaugh Is A Fat Slob

I normally don’t pay much attention to Fat Limbaugh. He’s full of hot air, hypocritical, addicted to drugs, narrowed minded, hypocritical and mostly has no basis for anything he says- did I mention he’s a drug addict?

Recently at work, however, and because I’m doing some new policy stuff, I have been working in a room with some borderline neocons. They have Fatso on most of the morning. They keep it just loud enough so that I can hear it; which usually does not bother me because it keeps me entertained- that’s right, it’s entertainment. Everyday they ask me why don’t I bring some of my liberal stuff and play it. And everyday I answer, “Because I don’t have any.” Yes, that’s right, I don’t listen to Air America, I have never watched the Daily Show and I still disagree and dislike George W. Bush. Startling huh?

Yet, listening to Slob Limbaugh has brought to my attention just how far-Right and really how out of touch the man is. I always knew he was politically challenged, but didn’t know it was this bad. I think what gets me the most is how the people who do listen to him take everything he says like it’s the gospel. Limbaugh makes so many assumptions, so many stereotypes, so many outrageous, hypocritical remarks I don’t see how people with half a brain could believe him. What I find comical is that he is the epitome of Neoconservatism; the model for wannabe’s to strive, the level at which neocon thinking is measured. And that alone surprises me as to why Democrats have yet to put him on the spot.

On several occasions I’ve heard the same people that I am sharing workspace with, out at night repeating some of the same things that Fatboy said that morning or the morning before. They either do it in a way as to make others around them believe that it was one of their own original ideas, or they use Limbaugh as a footnote or a reference to prove a point- as if Limbaugh is a source to anything credible. If Limbaugh is the thinker, the brains, then I would really hate to meet their leader. Oh, wait, that would be the president.

Sometimes it’s good to have a little humor with things. I can’t stand to be serious all the time. But, why is it that all the crazy Right-wing nut jobs that spout continuously from the mouth are deemed so credible, but anything that is remotely considered left of center is viewed as outrageous, detached from reality, or for that matter, Liberal? Shouldn’t someone finally define all this in a matter that is far more accurate than the present definitions for political discourse? Isn’t there a middle-ground Democrat that could possibly take this upon them to change an abundantly growing Neoconservative brain-drain on the American people?

Easy things perplex me sometimes. Everything is in place. Surely, someone else has to understand this.

The guy thrives on being sensational, and on making the left wingers as angry as he can. Sometiems when I've listened to his show, I have to wonder if he could possibly believe some of the things he says, or if he's just seeing how mad he can make people (kind of like Anne Coulter seems to do.)

About the only people I think are farther to the right than Rush Limbaugh are Anne Coulter, Sean Hannity, and John Ashcroft.

Oh, come on now guys... Limbaugh is an idiot but he's pretty funny which is why he's so popular. Hannity on the other hand... is NOT funny (at least not to me).

Great blog, btw -

Thanks Snave for visiting.

I agree with ya. Fatboy does thrive off of making the Left as mad as possible.

And like I said, usually he doesn't bother me whatsoever. Just after a solid week of hearing him and then listening to all the wannabe's quoting him like he's God, blows my mind- and I had to let off some steam.

Did I mention he's a drug addict too?

Gun-toting Liberal:

I like the name. Thanks for visiting.

I have conservative views and liberal views. When it comes to guns, I am very conservative. I think everyone should own a gun. And I hate gun-laws- they are pointless and un-Constitutional.

Now if your name means what it says, then you and I would probably agree on a lot.

I will visit your site.

Thanks again.

GTL, I like your name too!

I don't tote my gun, but I still own one. I love my rifle; it's a Stevens Marksman .22 made in 1893, and I swear it is the most accurate rifle on Earth!

NRA members taught me how to use it 35 years ago in Hunter's Safety class, back when the NRA was dedicated to the nation's sportsmen and had not yet been taken over by rightwing nutjobs.
